Kesha is “lucky” to have Adam Lambert as a friend

Kesha has found a friend in Adam Lambert – and she’s lucky to have him.

23-year-old Kesha considers Adam, 28, to be a real friend.

“In a business full of utmost douchebaggery, I’m really lucky to have found a real friend in him,” she said of Lambert in an interview with Billboard.com.

She also spoke about her MTV VMA nominations for Best New Artist and Best Female Video, saying: “I’ve been a sceptic as to whether or not I’ve ‘made it’ and when I got the phone call yesterday, I had to take a step back and be like, ‘Maybe now I can officially think I’ve made it’.”

“I’m in a category with Gaga and Beyoncé. I think maybe I’m doing OK.” she added.
