Robbie Williams and Ayda Fields’s ‘special bridemaids’

British singer Robbie Williams takes the long awaited plunge and marries his girlfriend of four years Ayda Field at his Beverly Hills, CA home on August 7, 2010 in front of a small audience of friends and family members including Williams father Pete Conway and mother Janet Williams. While the couple took great lengths to keep the ceremony quiet including offering a decoy location and blocking off the outdoor ceremony under a tent, a tender first married moment was captured after the ceremony as bride and groom relaxed in their sun room overlooking the reception. Robbie Williams and Ayda Field had a gorgeous wedding, but instead of eight beautiful ladies as bridemaids, they had their dogs wearing flower colars.

The Take That singer, 36, and the US actress exchanged vows in front of 60 guests at their Beverly Hills home on Saturday.

And they decided to throw convention out of the window.

‘The only thing that’s traditional is the vows,’ says Robbie. ‘No hen party, no bachelor party, no wedding showers.’

Ayda, 31, dressed her pets in pretty flower collars and they followed her down the aisle.

‘Our doggies are taking the bridesmaid roles!’ she told Hello! before the ceremony.

‘I was originally thinking little bow ties for them but instead they’re going to each have flower collars.’

Robbie and Ayda also broke tradition by serving a full English breakfast at the reception.
