They tried… they really tried, which is why we actually feel a bit sorry for them now.

After several days of intense promotional work, which helped launch their new single to the top of the UK charts for most of the week, The Saturdays week ended on a massive low when two bandmembers were struck down with a mystery bug and their single slipped to number three.

On Saturday night the five piece girl group were scheduled to perform at G.A.Y but they were forced to cancel when Frankie and Vanessa fell ill.

Then to make matters worse, after being number one in the charts for most of the week Missing You finally charted at number three after being knocked off the top spot by Flo Rida and nudged out of number two by Eminem and Rihanna.

But Rochelle was still looking on the bright side when she Tweeted:

“Thanks to every single one of you that bought #missingyou we love you We are very happy another top 5 under our belts! Thanks again love me x”
