Adam Lambert has spoken about the new American Idol judges in an interview.

It was the show that made him famous, so it was only natural that Adam was asked what he thinks of new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

“I think Steven Tyler’s obviously an icon.” Adam said during a radio interview in Miami. “I think it’s really cool — it will give it some cred.”

“I think J. Lo gives them some cred. She’s urban pop — hopefully they can find some urban pop artists.”

Adam also mentioned that his second album, the follow-up to For Your Entertainment, would be out early next year and according to examiner.com there is still talk of a live album in the mean time, although this is yet to be decided.

Do you want Adam to release a live album, or are you happy to wait for album number two?
