Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli says singer Cheryl Cole wants to focus on TV commitments.

Cheryl Cole has ended things with Derek Hough, according to Bruno Tonioli.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge, who introduced the couple, claims the Girls Aloud star wants to focus on her TV work.

‘Cheryl has said she needs space and he respects that, so when Cheryl gets back to England, their thing will be over,’ Bruno, 54, tells the Daily Record.

‘Derek knows when Cheryl gets back into The X Factor, things will change.’

Cheryl, 27, returned to the UK yesterday from LA without Derek.

The dancer will remain in California to work on Dancing With The Stars.
