First Adam Lambert, now Russell Brand is accused of attacking a pap

Russell Brand returned to LAX in Los Angeles, CA on September 15, 2010. The comedian looked as if he were happy to be back in the states as he seemed to be trying to contain his excitement as he walked towards to exit. Surprisingly, instead of a town car or limousine waiting patiently for him, Katy Perry in a very non-diva like display waited behind the wheel for her fiance to meet her and depart. Russell Brand has reportedly been arrested for misdemeanor battery.

The news hits the net just hours after Adam Lambert was accused of exactly the same thing and we’re noticing an on-going theme here – the paparazzi.

Now most celebs will readily admit that being snapped by the paparazzi comes with job, but when do the paps go too far?

The alleged incident with Adam took place in Miami, where Adam was trying to enjoy some time off on the beach. Despite trying to hide behind a large hat and sunglasses, the photographers pursued him which lead to the incident which sounds largely exaggerated.

For Russell, he was walking through LAX airport with wife-to-be Katy Perry when snappers reportedly tried to take photos up her skirt, forcing Russell to retaliate.

After the incident, Katy tweeted: “If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me.”

Russell, who was placed under citizens arrest and taken into police custody, has posted $20,000 bail and has left the police station according to TMZ.
