George Clooney has met his in-laws!

George Clooney, the man who claimed he would never settle down, has taken a big step and met his girlfriend’s parents.

Elisabetta Canalis introduced George to her mum and dad in Sardinia.

The family holiday included lunch with Canalis’ uncle, a tour of scenic sites and a quiet dinner at La Rosa dei Venti, a restaurant known for its local specialities.

By the sound of it the island’s entire population came out to meet Mr Clooney and even gave him babies to kiss.

“He looked rather awkward with the seven-month infant in his arms, but he posed politely and carefully handed the baby back,” a neighbour told a local journalist.
