James Franco on Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner’s romantic moment

James Franco has spoken about the romantic moment that Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (sort of) share in Twilight Eclipse.

The actor, who is set to begin a Ph.D in English at Yale University this Autumn, admitted to reading the first three books in the series but insists it was only out of curiosity.

“I wouldn’t say I enjoy them, but I’m fascinated with them,” he told MTV News of Stephenie Meyer’s books.

Speaking about Robert and Taylor’s characters, love rivals Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, James had the following to say.

“There will be a scene [in Eclipse] where the go-to guys, Taylor and Rob, are in the tent, it’s almost like a Brokeback Mountain scene, where the two guys are talking in a tent and the girl is asleep, and they’re having, like, this romantic moment almost through her, in a way,” he explained.

“One of them says, ‘Well, I’m hotter than you,’ and it’s almost like they’re winking at the fans, like to the Team Jacob or the Team Edwards.”
