Katy Perry’s guest spot on Sesame Street was released online this week, but it received so many viewer complaints that TV bosses have now decided to cut her from the show.
In the clip, which can be viewed here, the ‘I Kissed A Girl’ hitmaker sings a child friendly version of her hit song ‘Hot’N’Cold’.
But it’s not Katy’s duet with Elmo that’s caused the problem – it’s her chest.
Viewers complained Katy’s breasts were ‘too in your face’ and as a result producers were forced to release the following statement:
“In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on You Tube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers.”
Poor Katy! That’s not fair, she didn’t even do anything wrong! Last night Russell Brand tweeted:
“Today’s Sesame Street will NOT be brought to you by the number 34 or the letter D. Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sex-with-me Street?”
