Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has launched a surprising attack on fellow pop star Lady Gaga claiming that the outrageous pop diva sometimes goes over the top in trying to shock.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Walsh revealed that she thought the “meat gown” that Gaga wore recently was a “bit grotesque”.

“Wearing outfits like that can look a bit grotesque. I have really mixed feelings on Lady Gaga. Sometimes I think it’s great we’ve got someone so extrovert and bringing back that pop diva vibe, but in another breath it’s all a bit OTT that it almost becomes contrived. Anybody can dress so outrageously to make sure they are constantly shocking people.”

Walsh also went on to reveal that she felt that Gaga “upstaged” her sisters graduation ceremony when she turned up in full Gaga gear…

“Lady Gaga went to her sister’s high school graduation dressed up, but you should never upstage someone if it’s their event – it’s not right, especially if you’re a well-known artist like her and you’ll get attention anyway. She goes a bit too far sometimes.”
