Dougie Poynter talks marriage & wearing women’s clothes

Dougie Poynter has said that he’s waiting for girlfriend Frankie Sandford to propose.

The McFly bassist has been dating The Saturdays singer for two years now, and when asked about proposing by BANG Showbiz he replied: “I’m waiting for her to ask me. We’re new school. We wait for the women to ask us. I’ll have a big diamond please!”

If Frankie does pop the question, she’ll have to make sure she is the one who gets to wear the dress on the big day.

Speaking about dressing in women’s clothing, Dougie said: “I think I suggested it thinking, ‘It’s one of those things that’ll never happen,’ but I turned up today and they had it prepared.”

“I’ve actually dressed up as a woman quite a few times. It’s become a bit of a habit for me. I enjoyed wearing tights!”
