Adam Lambert has spoken out about his UK fanbase.

Adam, who doesn’t get nearly as much credit as he deserves from the UK media, recently toured here and has since spoken about his fanbase.

Discussing his UK tour, he toldĀ X Magazine: “Well, I mean, the venues are not huge. They’re modest. But I think there’s definitely something going on with the internet and I think there’s a lot of word of mouth surrounding my project and that’s really exciting for me.”

“I think that word got over here to people and there’s been a very passionate, dedicated fanbase, however small, here in the UK.”

Adam also spoke about people being discouraged from listening to his music, because of his sexuality.

“I don’t know exactly how it works in the UK music scene but in the States it is a little tough because people… some people, the minute they hear gay, their mind becomes closed and they don’t want to hear your music.” he said.
