Robert Pattinson dreamed of being a rapper when he was a teen.

The Twilight actor was “obsessed” with Eminem and even used to make recordings of himself performing his own songs.

“You want a secret? OK, how about this — I’ve got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They’re very amusing!” he said.

“I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his ‘Slim Shady’ CD. I think he’s a genius.”

Oh how we’d love for one of these tapes to surface online.

It’s no secret that Rob, 24, wants a music career. Maybe if he grows tired of his trusty guitar, we can expect some badass raps – or not.
