James Franco has admitted that blood makes him queasy.

The 127 Hours actor plays Aron Ralston who had to amputate his own arm, which actually caused people to faint in the cinema when they watched the scene – but what does James think about it?

“I admit that I get a little queasy, especially when it comes to blood around my arms,” Franco told People magazine.

“When I go to the doctor for a checkup and they draw blood, I admit, I’m not good at that at all.

“But when I watched the amputation scene, I was fine.”

“A lot of the physicality was real.”

“I was really being bruised, and the frustration and the emotion would arise in an organic way as well.”
