Petra Nemcova and Jamie Belman are engaged.

Petra’s rep confirmed the news to UsMagazine.com.

The couple have been together for eight months, after meeting through mutual friends.

Petra’s former fiancé, photographer Simon Atlee, was killed in the 2004 tsunami in Thailand.

A loved-up Petra told the site back in November that their ideal date night was, “just walking hand-in-hand and being able to enjoy the moment.”

“She’s beautiful inside and out.” Jamie said of his woman.
