Lady GaGa’s mum calls her Lady GaGa

Lady GaGa’s nickname has really caught on – even her mum uses it.

The wacky singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, says her mum calls her GaGa when she’s “mad”.

“There really is just no separation between the two, it’s more just like a nickname for me now — GaGa,” she said.

“When I’m good my mom calls me Stephanie and when I’m mad she goes, ‘Come on Lady GaGa.’ Not often, I’m a good girl.”
