George Clooney is back on the market

George Clooney has split from his girlfriend.

Break-ups are never a good thing but we’re sure lots of ladies will be delighted to hear he has split from Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.

“We are not together anymore. It’s very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy,” George and Elisabetta said in a joint statement.

The pair started dating back in July 2009.
