Attack of the nerves: Holly Valance considered quitting Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Holly Valance nearly pulled out of the competition last week due to an attack of nerves, it has been revealed.

Yesterday we reported that McFly’s Harry Judd had been feeling the pressure as his debut looms, and it seems he’s not alone. The former Neighbours actress, suffered a terrible bout of nerves during rehearsals after becoming the bookies’ favourite, says the Mirror. The Kiss Kiss singer reportedly told dance partner Artem Chigvintsev she wanted to quit the show.

But after apparently telling him “I can’t do this, I can’t go on“, the Russian convinced her to keep going.

According to paper’s website Holly has been struggling with her routines since the show’s launch two weeks ago and fears making a fool of herself when it goes live on Friday.

Strictly Come Dancing hits our BBC One screens on Friday (30th September) for a two night launch show special. As if we’d let you forget.
