Rock band No Doubt have decided to delay their new album because they do not want to give their fans material that is not up to standard.
The new album was due to be released later this year but has had to be postponed because it is just not ready yet.
The group, who haven’t released an album since 2001, have all been concentrating on solo projects until recently.
Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont have been super busy recording the new album but say it will not be out until next year.
An official statement said: “Ideally our new record would be coming out this year but it’s just not ready yet.
“We don’t want to rush this album just to get it out. This collection of songs means everything to us and our only priority right now is to make sure that it’s the best album we can possibly make. There is still more work for us to do.
“We love our fans and are doing this for your ears and want you to know how much we appreciate your patience and support.“
