Rory Bremner Cha Cha Cha’s out of Strictly Come Dancing

Following last week’s Broadway magic, this week Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly once again declared battle on the dance floor, with a show packed full of glitz, glamour and dancing styles. As the twelve remaining couples fought hard for their place in next week’s Halloween spectacular, on Sunday night’s result show it was revealed that Rory Bremner and Erin Boag were the next couple to leave the competition.

From a fiery Paso Doble and elegant Waltz, to an energetic Jive and colourful Samba, this week’s couples brought the dancefloor alive with eleven different ballroom and Latin routines. Dancing to impress the viewers at home, they were also hopeful that their efforts could make a mark on the fearsome foursome – judges Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood – in the studio

The judges’ scores were combined with the results of the viewers’ votes. The two couples in the bottom two were: Rory Bremner & Erin Boag and Nancy Dell’Olio & Anton DuBeke. It was then announced that Rory & Erin would become the next couple to leave the show.

Rory & Erin had danced a Cha Cha Cha to the song Dance to the Music.

Next week, Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly unleash a truly bewitching ballroom bonanza in the Strictly Come Dancing 2011 Halloween spectacular. The remaining eleven couples will don their most ghoulish and ghostly costumes, and take to the dance floor with an array of devilishly spectacular ballroom and Latin routines. It will be broadcast on Saturday 29th October at 6.30pm, with the results show on Sunday 30th October at 7.25pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
