Tonight the first show of X Factor auditions aired, and one of the most talked about contestants, Madonna lookalike Katie Waissel, might get axed already.

She’s able to sing reasonably well, and has been put through to the next round by Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowel, but here’s some bad news: she has a record deal already.

Bigtop40.com reports that Katie has signed a record deal with Chamberlain Records in America. She appeared on the online TV series called Green Eyed World, where she heads for a singer-songwriter adventure in New York which allegedly lead to te record deal.

X Factor rules state that contestants must not have an existing music management contract.

Since this hasn’t happened before, we’re not sure if they’ll actually send her home, but it could possibly happen.
