Adam Lambert is most wanted for American Idol judge role

Adam Lambert is the celebrity our readers would most like to see as a judge on American Idol.

There are countless rumours about who will be filling the empty seats on the American Idol judging panel – some are filling us with delight, some are fulling us with dread.

The internet is divided over who would be best suited for the role. Rumour has it Nick Jonas is being considered – he’s achieved a lot of success in his few years, but is he too young? Would a former contestant like Adam Lambert be more suited for the role? He has been through it after all.

Other names doing the rounds are Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg (Lion?) Charlie Sheen, Aretha Franklin and Kelly Clarkson – although Kelly recently quashed the rumours.

Well, we put it to a vote, and you guys decided Adam Lambert would be best suited for the role. In second place we have Nick Jonas, followed by Kelly Clarkson, Charlie Sheen, Pharrell Williams, Aretha Franklin and Snoop Dogg.

All I can say if it’s Nick and not Adam, I will never watch it again. While most of the other contestants try to distance themselves from the show, Adam has remained a loyal advocate.

Other than Adam Lambert those other names are ridiculous except KC. They wouldn’t have two ex-idols on the panel. Our favorites don’t matter it’s what the producers want that counts. They have been making bad choices over the years so it looks like they may keep going in that direction if Nick Jonas or Diddy or Snoop Lion are on the panel. Get some judges that actual can sing and are trained to know when someone is singing well or not. How would Diddy or Snoop know they don’t sing they rap.

Why is Pharrell Williams ridiculous??? I think he’d be great. And he seems like a really nice guy – smart, talented & gorgeous, just like Adam! :D

I would love Adam to be a judge. Seeing Adam twice a week for several months would be so much fun. Adam doesn’t have anything scheduled for September. I can only hope that it is because an annoucement will be forthcoming about him being a judge on AI.

If people followed Adam Lambert, they would see how articulate, well-read and clever he is. He would really be a good judge. He truly can sing (whether you like him or not, that is not debatable) and he’s been through it. He has not gotten a fair shake in my opinion in the music world.
Truly I really want a Queen tour. I was blown away by what he did with Queen. Please let this happen first, a hit single and his own tour and then we’ll talk IDOL. It’s not the right time in my opinion.

I seldom vote although I post messages. Everyone I talk to cannot deny his talent and showmanship, but they too don’t call radio stations, vote or even buy CDs. Many of them don’t even listen to radio. Adam has been snubbed, but I have faith he’ll find his way someday. Listen to him sing with Queen. The reviews are great. Then again, the CD got great reviews, but he struggles to sell.

I selfishly would love to watch Adam week after week and know he would be amazing as well, no doubt. I think there are other greater things he could do now, but if he is not on, I already wrote off Idol last year.

Ridiculous! Adam IS a World wide star and NO ONE can go toe to toe with him and sing better~then take his showmanship. Adam BROKE THE MOLD FOR IDOL…PERIOD! So MAny reasons Adam would be an extraordinary Judge.

I stopped watching in 2009… found my idol ( world found his)… american idol is dead… there is not going to be another Adam. Viva Adam!!!!

Adam Lambert and only ADAM deserves this position. There are so many
reasons why. He is SMART, witty, well spoken,
not afraid to express his opinion in a constructive way, he
is the one who reset the standards of that show, he is an outstanding performer
and singer, outstanding charisma, HE IS ABLE TO BRING A NEW LIFE to that show,
he has a strong but positive genuine personality. What else do they want?

IT IS RIDICULOUS TO CONSIDER NICK JONAS for such task. He will
fail miserably the show will fail along with him. The only reason for
considering Jonas is because Mariah doesn’t want anybody with strong
personality by her side. MARIAH wants the spotlight only for her.

Just ask Adam to be the new judge… he’s got all it takes to bring A.I alive and the ratings back up. If they don’t ash him it will be their loss. there are so many positive things about this beautiful man.. how can they not see what a great asset he would be I just don’t understand!!!!! why look anywhere else when this shining star is just the ideal person right in front of them.
