Was 2010 a good year for music? The stars of 2010!

Reformed Bands

The main band to reform in 2010 is probably Take That. Robbie Williams finally rejoined the band after years as a solo artist, delighting fans new and old.

A joint statement between Robbie Williams and the group read: “The rumours are true… Take That: the original lineup, have written and recorded a new album for release later this year.”

“Following months of speculation Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams confirmed they have been recording a new studio album as a five-piece, which they will release in November.”

On 29th March it was announced that The Libertines were to reform for the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2010, and in November it was announced that Pulp would reform with the Different Class line-up to play at the Wireless festival in London’s Hyde park and the Saturday headline slot at the Isle of Wight festival in 2011.

2010 also saw some bands come to an end. Girls Can’t Catch, Supergrass and Mini Viva all disbanded in 2010.
