Jessica uses the media attention to her advantage
After all the recent controversy about her weight Jessica Simpson seems to have taken it on the chin and taken a step forward as a curvier woman. She plans to launch a fashion line for curvy ladies everywhere.
Speaking to US magazine In Style she says ‘I want to create clothes that flatter every figure. I know how a dress can make you feel so frumpy. I promise mine won’t. I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I’ve been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you’re curvy. If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall – in big, big platform shoes – then I’m happy.’
Her friends, family and ex husband have all defended Jessica’s figure after the media slated her new look. She hasn’t spoken out about it. But why should she? She still looks great, but lets be honest she could look amazing even if she was dressed in a bin bag.
