Is there a singer out there who can beat Adam Lambert at what he does best?

You only have to read the comments on any story we publish about Adam to see praise heaped on the American Idol runner up, and recent competitors to step up to the mark have been shot down by our readers.

Recently rejected X Factor contestant Aidan Grimshaw was recently compared to Adam after his performance of Mad World during the live shows.

After Aiden’s performance, judge Simon Cowell said: “Interestingly, this is the second time I’ve sat on one of these shows and been blown away by that song. It happened once in America and it’s just happened again tonight.”

Simon Cowell may have been blown away by the track, but Adam fans didn’t think Aidan’s performance came close to that of their idols.

Then we have Pink who co-wrote Whataya Want From Me which was a hit for Adam when he released it, but now, in what some are considering to be a bizzare move, Pink has decided to include a cover of the track on the Australian version of her Greatest Hits… So Far album.

Pink has previously performed the song on tour though. Introducing the song, Pink said: “So I wrote this really silly song, and then I found a guy that could sing it way better than me, so it became his. Now I’m gonna sing it.”

Now that a proper recording of the track has hit the net, fans have naturally compared the two versions and while Pink is getting credit for writing such a great track, it’s Adam who is getting the praise for singing it best.

So is there anyone out there who can match or even beat Adam vocally?
