Poor Leona

The man accused of attacking Leona Lewis at a book signing has been charged with assault.

29 year old Peter Kopwalczyk allegedly punched the X Factor winner in the face on Wednesday.

He has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 26 October.

Leona, 24, had been signing copies of her autobiography Dreams, but her visit was cut short.
