‘The Club Is Alive’ confirmed as next JLS single

Aston, Marvin and JB of JLS hit the town to celebrate Marvin's 25th birthday at London's club AltoFans have been waiting for a long time but as of today the wait is finally over. Well kind of…  JLS have confirmed that their new single will be called ‘The Club Is Alive’ and set for a July release.

The song’s title and release date was revealed on Manchester’s In Demand radio show this morning, much to the delight of thousands of screaming fans.

The boys are just as excited about the new release and have taken to Twitter to communicate their delight.

They Tweeted: “New single confirmed as The Club Is Alive – out July 4th – eeeeeeeeeeeek!!! xx.”

A radio station also took to Twitter and claimed that one lyric on the track states: “The club is alive with the sound of music”. This has sparked suggestions that the pop track will feature a sample from The Sound of Music score. Interesting idea?

JLS are currently shooting a video for The Club Is Alive while they record their eagerly awaited second album in the US.

Yesterday a radio station posted the lyric “The club is alive with the sound of music” from the song on Twitter, suggesting that it samples the title track from the 1965 film The Sound Of Music.

JLS have also confirmed that they are shooting a video for ‘The Club Is Alive’ while they finish recording their second LP in the US.
