The Klaxons feel ‘unstoppable’

Klaxons perform live at the closing party of the hedonistic Ibiza Rocks music eventThe Klaxons think they are “unstoppable”.

The nu-rave group think fans will be amazed by their forthcoming new album, the follow-up to their 2007 award-winning debut ‘Myths Of The Near Future’, because they have improved their musical abilities so much.

Singer and bassist Jamie Reynolds – who is joined in the band by James Righton, Simon Taylor-Davis and Steffan Halperin – said: “We’re now a full-force, unstoppable band.

“Our producer Ross Robinson made us into a band. He’s given us total confidence as musicians, both collectively and as individuals.

“Before, we were four people who had great ideas knocking about but didn’t always know how to achieve them. Ross has taught us how to do that, while turning us into a hard-playing band.”

The ‘Golden Skans’ hitmakers are currently finishing off the as-yet untitled LP and are looking forward to showing off their new-found confidence when they tour this summer.

Jamie added to the Daily Star newspaper: “We’ve just started rehearsals and in the first day and a half, we nailed playing the whole of the second album live.

“It’s much more of a live record than ‘Myths Of The Near Future’. Playing it live is going to be amazing.

“We haven’t massively ventured off, it’s kind of the same thing but bigger, fuller.”
