Penelope Cruz ties the knot

Penelope Cruz has tied the knot with film star boyfriend Javier Bardem at a friend’s house in the Bahamas.

A spokesperson for Penelope said that the 36-year-old actress wore Galliano at the intimate ceremony, which was attended only by family members.

The couple have known each other since 1992 when they starred together  as young lovers in Spanish movie Jamón, Jamónin . More recently both appearing in  Woody Allen’s film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

In true romantic style Javier reduced Penelope to tears with a romantic declaration of love at this years Cannes Film Festival.
As he picked up an award he said: “I share this joy with my friend, my companion, my love: Penelope: I owe you a lot and I love you so much.” Awwww!
