Not only are the Jonas Brothers a very clean cut band, who very publicly don’t believe in sex before marriage, but Demi is only 17-years-old – making her under the age of consent in most states in the US.

Joe reportedly instructed his lawyers to contact blogger Zack Taylor, after he allegedly claimed Joe and Demi were “friends with benefits”.

A source reportedly told ZackTaylor.ca that Demi and Joe, who are currently on tour together, are “friends with benefits”.

“They partied after their first concert and ended up hooking-up back at the hotel.” the source said.

“It’s no secret that she wants him, and Joe finally gave back in for whatever reasons.”

“While on tour, I guess we can say they are doing that whole ‘friends with benefits’ thing, but keeping it low!” the source added.

TMZ obtained a copy of the letter from Jonas’ legal team, ordering the blogger to stop posting stories that claimed Demi and Joe “are involved in an illicit relationship”.

It reads: “Your repeated posting of fabricated stories regarding our client must be viewed as evidence of your wilful or reckless disregard for the truth and reflect a malicious attempt to attack and devalue our client’s good name and reputation.”
