While in Singapore to perform at the Grand Prix, Adam Lambert spoke about his alleged attack on a member of the paparazzi.

In an interview with RazorTV, Adam spoke genuinely about being provoked by the pap in question.

“No charges were pressed. I think that the media in the United States like to sensationalise that concept. It was a fun story to tell.” he said.

“Some members of the paparazzi are very clever about saying things to get you to react, they know how to provoke. The past 2 and a half years I’ve gotten really used to dealing with it and never let it get to me, and it just got to me.” Adam admitted.

“All I wanted to do was grab his camera and yell something at him, maybe throw it in the sand or something, I struggled with him for his camera for a minute and he went to the police station six hours later, probably trying to make some money, wanting to say that he was wrestled to the ground – he never hit the ground, there were no punches thrown, I’m not that violent.”

“I just tried to grab the camera from his hand. It was like a game, it was like football.” Adam smiled.

Speaking about what the photographer had said to upset him, Adam said: “I’d rather not repeat it. It was horrible, it really upset me.”

Adam went on to described the Singapore paparazzi as “sweet” and “very respectful”.
