Last night (25 September 2010) Flashdance The Musical premiered. Matt Willis has tweeted about it went for him.

The show was meant to have it’s first preview on Friday, but unfortunately had to be cancelled for technical reasons. So  moving swiftly onto Saturday, Matt tweeted about his West End debut.

“Tonight I will be making my west end debut! I am very honoured and proud to be a part if this show! Let’s do this! Oh and btw, my bruise on the en[d] of my nose still looks ridiculous! I look like a French clown! (sic)”

While rehearsing, Matt had run into a mirror while changing. He tweeted: “Ok! So during rehearsal yesterday I ran into a mirror! Today I had a bit of a red nose, then I tried to get a blackhead and it is now blue.”

After the show it seemed everything had gone well, as Matt said, “First 20 minutes I was so nervous I kept forgetting to breath! Which makes singing pretty hard! So, I messed up a few times, but overall it was a pretty amazing show! Bring on Monday! We are up and running! Can’t wait to do the show again on Monday night!”
