David Arquette injured in car accident

David Arquette has been involved in a head-on car accident.

TMZ are reporting that David was driving in West Hollywood when his car veered into oncoming traffic.

The site have posted photo of the actor laying on the ground, moments after the crash.

A witness told TMZ that David was behind a car that stopped suddenly.  David then apparently swerved to the left to avoid hitting the car and went into oncoming traffic.  David slammed into a car going in the opposite direction.

David was apparently supposed to attend a party hosted by Kim Kardashian later, and was on his way to the airport.
