Make the most of festival season!

Crowd - Party in the Park, Leeds

The summer festival & roadshow season will soon be over – make the most of it with our picks.

Don’t panic! There’s still time to get in on the festival action – and you don’t need a bank loan to pick up any pricey weekend tickets.

We’re super excited about Jolly Day Out, taking place 26th-29th Aug at Hampton Court Green. Fun for all the family, adult day tickets are only £25 each, and one adult ticket entitles two under 12s to get in absolutely free.

Gates open at 12 each day with live music playing throughout the day, a fun fair, market and craft stalls, workshops and a wealth of children’s activities including award-winning shows Charlie and Lola’s Best Bestest Play and Horrible Histories, ZingZillas, Science Museum interactive demos and the Roald Dahl Museum, there’ll be plenty to dazzle and delight everyone!

After a fun filled day Hampton Court invite you to make your way over to the main stage to see the likes of Imelda May, Size 9, Parade and Lucy Morris on the 26th August. The following night sees Bjorn Again and Mamas Gun take to the stage. With McFly, City Stereo and Size 9 getting the crowds into a frenzy on Sunday 28th. The weekend closes on Bank Holiday Monday with a delightful Sing-a-long-to a Sound of Music and Firework Extravaganza.

Relax in the summer sun with real ales, cider or Pimm’s cocktails, and a wide selection of posh nosh from Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts to Borough Market BBQ and Pizza Express.

If you’re after a full-on, weekend-long, family-friendly music festival, then you’re gonna want to head to Bingley Music Live. In Bingley’s beautiful Myrtle Park, you can catch the ultimate variety of music – from reggae-metal, blistering alt-rock and indie to bubblegum pop, Motown soul, grime and chart-topping dubstep.

Taking place 2nd-4th September, you can get weekend tickets for a bargain £35 and day tickets for £25. Expect big names like Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Feeder, Maximo Park, The Coral, Eliza Doolittle and a whole lot more.
