Will Adam Lambert be performing at the Olympic Closing Ceremony?

It there a chance Adam Lambert will be performing at the Olympic Closing Ceremony?

We’d love to see Adam perform during what is set to be one of the greatest shows on Earth, watched all over the globe as the London 2012 Olympics finally come to an end, but how likely is it to happen?

Well, the closing ceremony is set to focus on 50 years of British music, and obviously Adam is American, but he has recently been singing with legendary rock band Queen, who are rumoured to be playing the event.

Queen guitarist Brian May was one of many musicians snapped by The Sun during the show rehearsals at the Ford car plant in Dagenham, east London. This is a good sign that Queen will be doing something at the event, but as we all know from Twitter, the last we heard from Adam he was in Japan

Others snapped/rumoured include the Spice Girls, the Pet Shop Boys, Jessie J, Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah and George Michael and One Direction.

Do you want to see Adam perform at the event? Leave us a comment.

I’d love nothing more though I’m very doubtful it will happen since Adam is not a British citizen he’s just an adopted British citizen by Queen

Adam has said all along that he cannot perform at the Olympics because they have a rule that you must be British. I saw a picture somewhere earlier today of Queen rehearsing with Jessie J. As much as I would love to see Adam…it’s not gonna happen.

I would have loved for this to happen but it seems very unlikely. The organisers wanted an all British show, and as Adam is in Japan at the moment it seems unlikely that he would fly all the way to London and then back again for his next Japanese appearance, there just isn’t time.
