Game of Thrones Stars: Oona Chaplin, Natalia Tena, Jon Drever – Molotov Jukebox’s new single ‘Neon Lights’

Eclectic London-based band Molotov Jukebox are offering their track ‘Neon Lights’ as a free download prior to the release of their new album ‘Carnival Flower’.

The flamboyant six-piece are fronted by multi-talented singer, actress and fashion icon Natalia Tena (Harry Potter and Game of Thrones) and have built an inimitable reputation for their unique style. Weaving together various elements which range from gypsy to swing, through Latin soul, calypso and dubstep, their dedicated fan base has affectionately dubbed their music ‘Gypstep’.

This melding of genres is perfectly showcased in the infectious ‘Neon Lights’ which blends soulful harmonies, spacey sounds and a fanfare-like riff for a track that is mellow one moment and anthemic the next. Thanks to tremendous support on Pledge.com, the band were also able to incorporate the talents of a full-blooded 7-piece brass section, who add some serious power to the already epic drums and bass. Tena says of the track:

“Neon is our ode to Mistress London, who is a massive bitch but our best friend. She’s home.”

The dynamic group have also become internationally renowned for their sweat-filled, dance-inducing live shows, which have led to them supporting Kings of Convenience, Beirut and Skrillex.

Described by Glastonbury Festival Founder Michael Eavis as “fantastic!”, the band are steadily building a well-deserved buzz. And with their album set for release on March 31st, celebrated in a special album launch event at Heaven on 4th April at 6.30pm, you’ll want to watch this space.
